A review of this place
Good Pancakes, ok service. One of the few places to get a good burger in North Bend. Also the whole Twin Peaks connection ups the cool a little.

Formerly the Mar-T Cafe, which should be familiar to Twin Peaks fans. Even though the place burned down, and is now Twede’s Cafe, they still try to milk the old Twin Peaks connection. They’ve got a display of old photos and TP memorabillia in the back of the restaurant by the restrooms—some of them charred and burnt, how sad. :( Nothing remains of the old interior, though, and it’s decorated with TONS of Tweety Birds. I guess because of the whole Twede connection. It’s a little disturbing.
But that shouldn’t be why you go here, because they’ve got some decent food, and it’s a pleasant place to eat. If you can ignore all the crap on the walls. They’ve got big booths and they play country music all the time; and they have a truly HUGE selection of burgers. I mean, huge. The Greek burger I had, made with lamb and feta cheese, was really good. I expected it to be absoultely horrible - because how often are they going to make the Greek burger? Maybe once every two months or something? I figured it was just another name on their menu, to make it look like they really did have a big selection, because most people are going to choose the plain cheeseburger anyway. But naw - it was super super tasty. Decent shakes. Really good fries. Excellent fries.
I admit, I haven’t tried their coffee, or their cherry pie.
(But I used to be able to tie a knot in a cherry stem with my tongue!)
