Mekong Rainier

I like Mekong Rainier, although I admit much of its great appeal to me is that I always walk to it. Otherwise, it is a simple, mainly SE Asian, neighborhood grocery. My neighbor merely described it as: “It has stuff you can’t get at Safeway”. Indeed. I always see people loading up on meat here; I can’t personally attest to its quality, but they don’t seem to mind.

If I were driving, I would park on street rather than navigate their parking lot. Actually, the street beside it (Walden) is its one big minus: the area is pretty trashy normally… perhaps because of their dumpster and recycling.
