Cafe Sunflower

The food is ok. It is expensive for what you get. Portions are small. The service is always real slow.

I have many great memories of this place. When my husband & I first got together, he lived in Tacoma and I lived in Lawrenceville. I took him to Cafe Sunflower on our second “date”—two days after he came all the way to Atlanta to have coffee with me and we wound up engaged. Great story for another time. Anyway, on another visit, the staff seated us in the back room and we ordered Zabaco Zin for the first time and it remains one of our faves. We also had our wedding reception at Cafe Sunflower. I love everything they make, but I often crave the vegan chocolate cake, so you must eat some for me!

This is the best vegetarian food I’ve had. I’ve been all over the country sampling all kinds of vegetarian restaurants, and Cafe Sunflower is by far the best, in taste, flavor and ambience. Even meatlovers love this place. Can’t wait to move back to Atlanta from Chicago so I can eat here again!
