A review of this place: Wow
If you are at all fond of history or of Military Vehichles then this spot is for you. It was quite a treat to see the tanks up close and personal. Take some time and read a book or two about the tank corp before you go and this will be a great way to put meat on to those stories.
I played a game called Squad leader as a kid and the tanks were so central to the game. I saw the terrifying beasts first hand.
Since this is on a US military base it is not CCW friendly even a can of pepper spray will get you in trouble with the feds.
They had a Stug, King Tiger, Pather and a Jag Panzer VI.
They were terryifying in their size and presence. Makes me marvel at the men who bravely fought against these titanic giants!

While I was living in Louisville I took the parents to this, as my stepfather is ex-military. I’m not an armor or cavalry buff, but I found it fascinating. There are many artifacts belonging to General Patton as well as displays about his career. I especially liked seeing the display of armored vehicles from both U.S. and opposing forces of 20th-century wars, accompanied by accurately uniformed mannequins. Well worth a visit for any history enthusiast!
