We went to Gloucester last weekend, and I loved it. It was supposed to be ninety four, so we decided it was a great day to go to the beach. We went to Stage Fort Park, where there was a cool breeze. We had a picnic while we watched some people get married by the gazebo. Then, we went to the playground so Anders could ride in the swing and on the squirrel bouncer. After that, it was off to the beach. We didn’t go swimming, but we did wade in the water and Anders played in/ate the sand. I loved that the beach was shady with huge rocks on either side. The leaves were just starting to change, too, so it was really pretty. Later, we went more downtown to see the fisherman statue, and appropriately, it started getting stormy. We went downtown for some coffee to wait out the storm, which was one of the most intense I have experienced. I loved it. Great place for seafood and whale watching. I loved to swim there. I was not a local so it was a little confusing with all the rotaries. I totally recommend going. Great place to shop is downtown. Very cool. I got an “I love Glosta” bear. Very quaint and charming place.
