Best redwood park I've seen by energy

I recently drove up the 101 and stopped in most of the state parks as well as the national park.

Humbolt Redwood State Park blew me away. The visitor’s center is more like a museum. It packed in way more information than all the other visitor and information centers we visited put together!

There is a self-guided walking tour at Founder’s Grove which is truely not to be missed. Also a driving tour at Avenue of the Giants. Some good flat-trail hiking as well.

The huge trees left me breathless in thier sheer size. The more I learned about the history and age of the forest the more my sense of wonder increased.
