The first time I went to this place
Was two days after my discharge from DUHS for brain surgery. Absolutely worth seeing but it is huge, especially when you are just out of the hospital! ;)

Why I recommend this place to locals
Beautiful gardens, all year round. I love this place because if I have a plant in my yard I can’t identify, all I have to do is traipse on over to Duke Gardens, find it, and look for the label. Lots of fun for a wanna be gardener like me.
