Tinos

I LOVE this island. I have family in Greece and we spend the summer on this island. Most of the time we spend in Panormos and Pyrgos. Both are beautiful. It’s a small island and these two towns have a very homey feel. I’m not certain how much English is spoken in that area of the island, but I’m sure that if you have a phrasebook you should not run into too much trouble.

For great food and a lovely view head for the Kolibithres, it’s got a very nice taverna there and the beach is also nice!

‘TINOS’ IS AN ISLAND IN ‘KYKLADES’. IS AN EXCITING PLACE. THERE ARE RESTAURANTS IN FRONT OF THE SEA. PEOPLE IS KIND. THE HOTELS ARE CHEAP. IN TINOS YOU CAN FIND HOTELS OF ALL CATEGORIES SO YOU CAN CHOOSE. THERE IS THE BIGGEST CHURCHE OF “ΠΑΝΑΓΙΑ”. LOTS OF PEOPLE VISIT THE ISLAND ON 15 AUGUST ONLY FOR VISITING THAT CHURCHE (LIKE ME). YOU CAN BUY MANY THINGS BECAUSE THERE LOTS OF SHOPS FOR TOURISTS WITH VERY GOOD PRICES…. COME . . . .
