Lamia

my father is from Lamia and i grow up since my 18 years then i went to Kozani for studies ..the last 5 years that i visit only at Christmass is been so different because of the new pedestrian zone that connect almost all the central squares of the city.The traffic jam has
diminished enough.The real amazing is that the city is been standing in same place more than 2500 years ..My home is some steps underneath the Castle.ooo..forgot to tell you that now the bus arrives from Athens to Lamia every hour !

Anyway ,i prefer my mama’s city Trikala ..is soooo beautiful with the river.U can visit Pertouli the small mountain village for ski and Meteora too !finallly has lovely night life!

I was young, but I remember it as a typical Greek town. Pleasant. Nice, scenic bus ride from Athens, even though we had to wake up at 4 AM to catch it.
