St. Augustine/Crescent Beach by gabby
This is my #1 recommended travel place! My family took me here several times during my childhood through early adult years. It is small enough to be comfortable, yet busy enough to have plenty to see and do. Touring in downtown St. Augustine is so fun. The beaches on Crescent Beach are attractive. Every time I go there is an abundance of some kind of sea creature or seashell on the shores. At Christmastime one year there were dozens of starfish along the shore. I highly recommend taking a tour of the Mantanzas River on one of the tour boats. You can see dolphins and can see the St. Augustine lighthouse at a closer view and take gorgeous photographs. The storms at night are incredible!! Very inspirational, relaxing place to go.
