I love the frozen lemonade on a hot Houston day.
They used to have a Bambolino’s on Post Oak just south of Willowbend. Like fifteen years ago. That’s where I got hooked.

Why I recommend this place to locals
I’ve been eating here since before I can even remember. They used to be on the corner of Montrose and Richmond, but the property got sold, leveled, and turned into a CVS. Ah, progress…
Fortunately, this wasn’t the death of the little place, which is a testament to just how good it is. (They’ve survived hard times before. It used to be a chain with several locations around the city, but they all closed in the late 80’s.) They’ve moved into a much bigger place on Westheimer, expanded their menu, and, for the first time ever, they have indoor seating. The old place only had an outdoor patio with four or five tables.
Try a “double big” slice of pizza. They also have amazing garlic bread – they make each one as a mini loaf. So cute! And from what I hear, they’ve just added stuffed garlic bread to the menu. There’s also a really great selection of pasta. Oh, and you MUST order an icy lemonade. It’s like a lemonade slushie. I’ve never been there without ordering one.
To top it all of, the food is cheap! Get your butt in gear and go. :]

A review of this place: Cheap, good, fast pizza
It’s yummy pizza, excellent sauce, got a drive through. GO. Try it. It’s incredibly cheap per slice too, and they’re HUGE.
On Westheimer, near Mandell, next to Yan Sushi.
