Genesee Park and Playfield

While waiting for the Seafair Air Show to start, I got a peak of the race, but I didn’t really watch it or follow it. I’m more into sailboat races than into these fast-speed racing.

But I liked the water curtains formed by the hydroplanes when they reach the end of the circuit and have to turn. With Lake Washington and Bellevue on the background, it was a good experience nonetheless :)

The Blue Angels were the feature of the show, but the biplanes, the Patriots Jets, and the huge cargo plane were impressive as well.

I have to admit that I was a bit freaked out with the practices a couple days before, since the planes passed roaring just above my house. But once I had a good spot to overview the lake and the show, the whole experience was much more enjoyable :)
