Dukes

Dukes is a strange place. This small bar at the end of Houndsditch looks like a cross between a pub, a continental bar, a restaurant and a greenhouse. There’s nothing special about Dukes. In fact, it is so not special that I’ve often been there while you could count the number of customers on the fingers of one hand. But that’s what makes it attractive: no queue at the bar and the staff is laid back and friendly. What else do you need?
