El Toro Mexican Restaurant

This was my favorite little Mexican restaurant in Gainesville for almost 20 years. They recently moved to Alachua, Florida, and it is well worth the drive to eat there! Great Mexican food. They make the best fried ice cream I’ve ever eaten!

La Tienda right down the street is much better, cheaper, and more authentic. Plus, they might let you play a little driedel game at the counter. ^_
