Not worth it!
was December 27, 2000. The day after Christmas is celebrated in the British tradition as Boxing Day followed by another day of an african festival. Everything in town was closed. There were drunks on the sidewalk sleeping and the stench of urine was enough to make you sick. Port of Spain is an ugly dirty city. Cruise ships bring passsengers to shop at the markets and to take tours in the mountains. You don’t want to spend any time in this city.
However, Trinidad is a lovely island and the people are lovely.
