Nature Center! by bananapancakes
The Chula Vista Nature Center was recently renovated and the grand opening of the Discovery Center and the Turtle Lagoon happened a couple of days ago. This place reminded me of the Birch Aquarium, but it is much smaller. I think most of the people who go to this place are locals. The exhibits at the Nature Center include both Aviaries and Aquaria. At the Aviaries exhibit, some of the birds you could see are the Bald Eagle, Golden Eagles, and Owls. At the Aquaria exhibit, there is an area called the “Shark and Ray experience,” which has an area where people could pet the different sharks and rays. There is also a huge swimming area for the various sharks (Guitar, Leopard, Horn)…Anything educational for both adults and kids is always definitely worth visiting!
