Meh. It’s a pretty depressing place, fairly interesting night market notwithstanding. Go if you like, but don’t bring your kids.

but also fascinating. probably the most tourists i’ve seen in bangkok since i’ve been here (i’m guessing more than even khao san) but still an experience to visit if you want to be shocked and amazed by the “shows.” yes, lots of shows like umm, how do i say this delicately…well you can see a woman smoke a cigarette without any hands…or using her mouth…or you catching my drift? everyone told me you have to go there at least once and i guess its true, but don’t say i didn’t warn you!
