Yaffa Cafe

I went here yesterday for dinner and sat outside on the patio. The food’s good, but the decor is great. Yaffa is exactly the sort of little funky cafe that you expect to find in the East Village, and it’s been around forever—I went to this place on Thanksgiving the first year I lived in New York. Over the years they’ve added more flea market finds, but the food has stayed the same. It’s open 24 hours, so it’s a good place to come for breakfast after a late night out.
