The most AMAZING looking Starbucks..

store is located here! It’s a wonder to behold. I don’t drink coffee but I had to go inside to see for myself. It’s a new building but looks old from a distance. In fact, I tried to find it on GoogleEarth and the structure was there. Why didn’t Starbucks build one like this in my hometown, a building of this caliber would surely enhance Burien’s image and draw more visitor’s to our new “Town Square” that’s in the works. Terry spied the LAST Paul McCartney Starbucks card sitting by the cash register. It’s my favorite souvenir from London! I got a venti awake tea with 1 bag and room for milk to sip while we strolled along St.Katherine’s Docks. It was a quiet little enclave of restaurants and pubs catering to the boatowners & condo dwellers located in close proximity of the Tower bridge(actually along side of it!)
To find this area we walked through an arch named Deadman’s Hole! below the tower bridge and followed across the street.

A review of this place: Hidden Heaven

St Katharine Docks are one of the unknown gems of London. Hidden behind the ugly concrete mass of the Tower Thistle hotel, across the road from the Tower of London, is this beautiful dock area ideal for chilling out on a sunny afternoon. It is also the home of a flotilla of beautfully restored Thames barges that were used to transport cargo along the river during the era of the large tea clippers.
