A tip I have about this place  — 1 year ago

    Worth visiting!

Arrive hungry! You’ll taste more cheese, and buy more cool food!

Presently, they are selling Socrates soap, which warms my heart.

The first time I went to this place  — 1 year ago

    Worth visiting!

It was located on Rainier Ave across from the Goodwill.
The combination of aromas, from the largest collection of imported cheeses I’d ever seen along with the dried cod sticking out of wooden barrels, made this the funkiest smelling place I’d ever entered!I’ve been back many times and always find some exotic item that inspires me to try using at home. PFI was here long before Costco & Trader Jo’s carrying exotic items that were unknown to neighborhood grocery store shelves as well as a large variety olive oils in the hugest bottles
    I’d ever seen.

avjar, mouloukhia, pomegranate molasses, dates, dates, dates  — 2 years ago

    Worth visiting!

good stuff and plenty of it and all the soviet-era ambience you could want. and more dates than i’ve had in the past month. if only they sold Chex Party Mix and Twizzlers, it would be perfect.
