Lucius J. Kellam, Jr. Bridge-Tunnel aka: Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel

It’s a real fun drive, If you find yourself going to VA Beach, take the eastern shore route. It may take a little longer, but it twice as nice. Taking this bridge/tunnel is so enjoyable and getting to stop in the middle to get a snack (in the middle of a bridge!/watch the fisherman is great. I think it’s worth the $13?

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, officially the Lucius J. Kellam, Jr. Bridge-Tunnel, 17.6 mi (28.2 km) long, crosses the mouth of Chesapeake Bay, in Eastern Virginia. It connects the City of Virginia Beach to the Virginia Eastern Shore. It is one of the Seven Engineering Wonders of the World!
