Don’t get me wrong, it’s filling and well put together but there’s just simply no bite to it. Bring your own spices and you’ll be fine but alas, it is geared for a blander palate than mine. Pity, because I enjoyed my visit tonight otherwise very well. Next time I’ll stick with a salad.

Basically, it’s near students but it’s not FOR students, if you get my drift. Still, it’s been a smash success for everyone else since it moved in some years back from an old location in Newport Beach. Nicely designed inside, good range of entrees (including some surprisingly good Mexican dishes, to its credit), but pretty much a once-a-month dining experience unless you are made of money. I can’t list it as a true favorite but I’ve had much worse, to be sure.
