Long line for a picture, but someone will surely be kind enough to snap it for you!

    Not worth it!

So not worth it. I hated posing for the photograph. It was a hot, strained day that I’d rather forget.

    Worth visiting!

If you are in the area, you have to visit the southernmost point, even just to say you’ve been there. It’s totally cheezy and touristy but fun so why not. Also, if you watch the sunset here, everyone claps when the sun goes down.

Why I want to go to this place  — 1 year ago

I want to go here because I think it’s the closest I’ll get to visiting Cuba! Besides I want to go to Key West

As the sun sets, it comes to life...  — 1 year ago

    Worth visiting!

I was in college the first time I drove down to Key West to watch the sunset. The place was empty except for a few locals and tourists. That was in 1978. The last time I went there, there was a cruise ship in town and the streets were packed with tourists.

Viewing the sunset is a must! This includes, not only the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen (provided free of charge), but there were a multitude of street performers. Make sure and show them you appreciate their efforts! And a recent addition are stalls with local arts and crafts. I bought some delicate glass dragons for my daughters there!
