I love Rome
Rome has a great mix of ancient culture and modern sofistication. Plus, they have a lot of nature in the city. Parco Borghese is a very nice park in the north of Rome. And it has a beautiful villa (Villa Borghese) with some magnificent statues made by Bernini.

Rome is, next to London, my favorite city on our planet. The buildings breathe art…
sigh
I hope I can go live there when I’m old!

Why I want to go to this place
Why wouldn’t I want to visit Rome? It’s like the capital of art and culture in Europe….
Me and my girlfriends are thinking of taking a trip there in the spring and it will be legendary!=)

Worth visiting!
Romans
The omnipresent SPQR is translated by locals as “Sono porchi questi romani!” (these romans are pigs) in reference to the dirty city.
in reality, Romans are warm and full of life. Once you get used to the dialect!
In Roma, they don’t use the italian “il” for “the” but pronounce everything “Er”
so, it’s Er colisseo, not Il Colisseo.
and, while in Tuscany the OH! that is uttered to gather one’s attention, in Rome it’s AHH-OH!
Very Roman.
