Worth visiting!
Was opening night, last Friday. It was hot out. I think Waid is onto something here—it’s a unique bar in Squire Park’s expanding 12th Avenue corridor (Lark, Licorous, Waid’s, La Spiga, Cafe Presse, etc.). Waid’s is a bit more laid back which is refereshing. A great mix of diverse folks on opening night and the ever-present Waid making the rounds to make sure everyone got along. Example: Waid sat a group of us together with his high school buddy (both are from Haiti) and bought a round of shots to grease the conversation. I’ll be headed back soon. Go Waid!
