Splash Mountain

This is attraction at Disneyland that my family most frequently gravitates to. The line is often quite long. We find ourselves often going through as single riders. We get through quite quickly and find often find that several of us end up riding in the same log. At worst we’re just a few logs apart from each other.

We do though try to go together as a family at least once. We do this usually early in the morning, very late at night, or else get a Fast Pass to all go at the same time.

The reason that we like to go together is so that we can get a picture of us all as the log zips down the mountain. Usually on the first ride we all look a little bit tense. After we get used to it we try to take funny pictures. My favorite thing to do on Splash Mountain is to pose for our pictures. We try to look like we’re asleep, reading the newspaper, or talking on the cell phone while everybody else in the log is screaming and holding on for dear life. People think that we’re kind of funny when we do that.

The little animals and their singing is a bit annoying, but the giant splash makes it all worth while.
