Jefferson Park

I used to live here in one of those apartment buildings where you can smell everybody’s cooking. My neighbors on one side were South American and the neighbors on the other side were an elder couple who baked a lot of cookies so for me, the cooking smells were a good thing. I also remember this area had quite the thriving polish community. My neighborhood was very rich in polishness. Lots of friendly people.
