Queens Botanical Garden

I went to see the annual train show at Christmas time. It was fantastic. Not only do you get to enjoy the beautiful garden; if you enjoy trains (my father collects them), it is a great experience. They have an extensive collection of model trains. Not the small kind you built as a child, but larger models once used to showcase the new train cars and sell them to the city… The trains runn along a track that winds it way through the garden and around an incrdible collection of replicas of famous NY locations made entirely out of flora. This is a must see if you like botanical gardens, trains, or new experiences…

I was married at the QBG! It will be four years in July and it was a day that I will never forget. The sun was shining, but it was not too hot and after the ceremony, our family and friends partied the night away. We stayed at the Hilton a few blocks away and our rehearsal dinner was in the VIP room of this tiny Chinese restaurant. It was great!
