The Dark Side Restaurant

The Darkside is a unique dining experience.

The dining in the dark concept established in Europe, the original restaurant in Germany Blindekuh – Blind Cow come from the Swiss equivalent of the children’s game blind man’s bluff! The idea for this unique restaurant came from dinner parties held in the home of a blind man who now runs a restaurant in Zurich which is staffed primarily by blind people and operates in total darkness.

At the Darkside restaurant the waiters wear night vision equipment and this enables them to see everything. flashlights, matches, mobiles, cigarette lighters and luminous watches are all banned.
