Parque Arqueológico San Agustín

This is one of my favorite places in the world. It has a definite mystical feel to it. You feel like you are back with nature while you are there, too. Only drawback is the violence with the guerilla groups. You should go there with people who are familiar with the area, like your family. And listen to the news reports before you drive out. We had to drive like 10 hours out of our way because the guerilla had set up a checkpoint on the main road. Other than that, San Agustin is a super place. You can even see coffee growing there if that’s your thing.
