From Frederick, take I-70 west to Exit # 49 US-40 Alt- Braddock Heights/Middletown. At the traffic light turn left onto US-40 Alt. west. Travel approx. 11 miles,
Old South Mountain Inn will be on the left.

From the West:
From I-81 take I-70 east to Exit #35 MD-66 Boonsboro/Smithsburg. Take MD-66 south approx. 5 miles to Boonsboro. Turn left onto US-40 Alt. east. Travel approx. 3 miles, Old South Mountain Inn will be on the right.
