House Of The Virgin Mary

Nice park up a hill.

This is one of the first places I got to see in Turkey and I must say, that by just seeing this alone, I already feel fulfilled and happy with my trip. :) The wishing wall is something else, I hope Mary grants all the wishes I tied to the wall. :)

Very humbling to be in such a place!

Debatable or not, the history invovled here is hard to ignore..
Was bowled over by the tranquility of the place..
Apparently Mary was brought here by er.. Saint John..(?) after the JC hit the sack.. and then… you know the story..

Recommend this little corner of Efes..
Take water, and lots of it.
