Mitchell Bay

So it’s a familiar spot to me, first from a brief visit many years ago and then again just a few days back. It’s a really lovely spot on the island, a perfect sheltered location, so it’s no surprise to see that many bayside lots have been constructed in recent years, though happily not spoiling the beauty of the bay. Since so much of the shoreline is now private property, your best bet for a visit would be via Snug Harbor Marina or just by boating in for a bit in a small enough vessel. Worth it, though!
