The Orcas Hotel

Good place for a quick sit-down while waiting for the ferry. However, the food is marginal.

Down the hill just to the left of the dock is a nice little market. Get your coffee and snacks there.

My parents would probably love it - it does have a great view over to Shaw Island, especially near dusk. But some friends and I got a bottle of wine from their very handy cafe and sat out on the patio to drink it, chat and watch our ferry come in - a good way to spend an hour! Do something similar and life will be there to be enjoyed.
