I won’t say that you simply HAVE to go here - it’s not a ‘go out of your way’ place. But it is a solid enough location - been around for over thirty years and has a well established clientele of locals and visitors, I don’t think the line ever stopped forming while we were there! When it’s busy service can be a bit slow, understandably, but they’re all polite folks and helpful as well, and given the time crunch friend Mackro and I had they still got the food to us. But rather than a quick meal, I’d say this is a spot to go to if you have time to relax in the outdoor dining area, if the weather is wonderful (as it was) and you’re in the area for a while and need to have a good Mexican place to eat at. Also, the margaritas are pretty great and there’s a huge brass armadillo to look at. No, really.
