Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

I went to the Vivian Beaumont to see Coast of Utopia: Voyage by Tom Stoppard. It has these funny neon signs for marking the way to the entrances, box office, etc. My usher discreetly told all of us in the front row balcony that if we must put our feet up, wait until the house lights go down. The person sitting next to me kindly offered gum. I was as taken in by Stoppard on stage as I had always been by his writing on the page. Seeing the costumes I have made is always a thrill, but it continued to make me marvel about those 1/2” changes to hemlines that are treated as emergencies are totally lost in the final magic.

The last time I went to this place

I saw The Light in the Piazza. I was expecting great things from this musical, but was instead, bored.
