spiders!

I got bit by a spider today while planting winter lettuce and preparing to plant peas. It hurt like @%! and I barely got my ring off before my finger swelled up.

Beware! the insects, um, arthropods are vicious here! Hide the children!

A review of this place

P-Patches are Seattle’s community gardens. I recently got my plot in the Courtland Place P-Patch, but I have not had time to put anything in yet, although I did pull the jungle of weeds that had taken residence. They weren’t happy about that. Only $31 per year for 100 square feet (plus eight hours community time)!
