When I was there we on my trip we picked out the one day we would go see the matterhorn. The one day we chose it was cloudy and gray and it rained the whole time…I’m sure its very pretty and breath-taking when its not pouring rain and cloudy and foggy… So just ready up on the weather report before you go over 3 years agoI'm pretty sure I went here in 1989 by cranberrygoddessis it the place where you either get a cable car or some kind of train or something to the top? or perhaps I went somewhere from which you could see Matterhorn? The name triggers so many synapses that I have to say I’ve been here. I wish my memory of a 9 year old was a little more reliable. If it is where I think it is… I remember going up here, and my sister was getting altitude sickness. I remember getting to the top and looking out. It was one of the most amazing sites I’ve seen. White snowy mountains everywhere, like a sea of white mountains. Reminds me of a doco I saw on everest where they have this scene at the summit where you just look out, and it’s like you are looking down on the world from the heavens. I just can’t describe it! over 6 years ago |
