Los Mariachis

We tried to eat dinner here tonight, but at just after 7 p.m., the parking lot was empty and only the red neon trim lighting on the building was turned on. I hope they are just on vacation or something similar. I tried calling but the phone just rang and rang (at least it wasn’t disconnected).

This is located in a building that has seen many restaurants come and go. There is a large pond/small lake out back that can be seen from tables along one wall, but maybe because of its location on Route 360, no business has had staying power, at least in the 10 years I have lived in Mechanicsville.

Anyway, we ate there for the first time last night. Slightly more expensive than the average Mexican restaurant, but the food was delicious. We’ll definitely be back.
