McGill University

I’m currently a student here. At first, I wasn’t sure whether or not I would accept their offer of admission. But I’m thankful I did because moving to Montréal has been such an educational experience, inside and outside of university (though mostly outside).

I’ve learned what I truly want my major to be and where my career path should hopefully lead. I’ve made friends there when I didn’t think I had it in me. I’ve truly embraced being independent. I’ve set up a great home for myself in a city that I love and can imagine myself in for years to come. And I’m starting to think I’m actually happy with where my life is and where it’s going, which I’ve discovered for myself, instead of listening to what others have tried to decide for me.

Now it’s hard to imagine if I had chosen otherwise. Though this probably applies more correctly to Montréal as a whole!

It’s my dream school… ;D
