Definitely worth the 121 steps to the top by traxx
This is definitely one of Venice’s best kept secrets. I don’t know exactly how to get there (we had to ask one of the locals, who ended up taking us on a tour of his neighborhood, to take us there), but just ask for it, all you have to say is “Mi scusa, dov’รจ il Palazzo Contarini Del Bevolo?” and they’ll either tell you where it is, or take you to the place themselves.
We got there, and I swear, there was no one there but the girl at the ticket booth, and two local photographers.
I believe it’s around 3-5 Euros to go in, but pay, it’s really worth it. Climb all the way to the top, stopping at random intervals, to look down, and to prepare yourself for the BREATHTAKING view you’ll be faced with at the top.
The Palazzo is a great place to enjoy the view of Venice’s famous rooftops.
Take the time to visit this place, it’s definitely worth it to get away from all the tourists!
