Worth visiting!

Experience depends a lot on exhibit.

The first time I went was amazing. The exhibit of Northwest Native American stuff was incredible and there was a lot of interesting stuff by local artists on exhibit. The next two times I went were not as interesting.

Your experience really depends on what the exhibit is and what your interests are. I would like to see a lot more contemporary, edgy stuff and I find the curation is somewhat spotty. The China Design Now show had a lot of potential but was very haphazard in the way it was set up.

Also be prepared for lots of stairs (or long waits for slow elevators). Also the price is somewhat high, $12 for adults – more for special exhibits (although there are some free days offered).

One of the most enjoyable things about the museum is the view outside through the many windows.

A review of this place

It was ok. The artifact panel was pretty cool. But I don’t know it didn’t really wow me.
