The least hideout of the Inca… I really want to see this lost city in the jungle. It takes about a week from the Sixpac Manco hostel in the little village near Quillabamba…
I’ve been to the trailhead, but didn’t have enough time, so did a shorter trek instead to a different set of ruins, guided by
a guy who was on the expedition when they found them.
I’d like to go back… when I have time and some people to do it with, self-organized, with mules and a local guide. Email me if you want to go!
The area is incredible, and wide open for exploration… there must be more ruins!
