Spectacular! by zenhikers

Some of the most gorgeous scenery on the 2,600 mile Pacific Crest Trail. This is a must see area and the PCT route is amazing!

Coolest wilderness you've never heard of by sundogg99

Uncharacteristically rugged spine of the Cascades, located between Mounts Rainier, St Helens, and Adams, with views of all three. The Pacific Crest Trail passes through Goat Rocks, but other than PCT-ers, this wilderness area doesn’t get a lot of use.

It’s a fairly long drive from Seattle or Portland to get to a trailhead, but the subsequent hike is not particularly strenuous and has a tremendous payoff in terms of scenic beauty.
