Another great place for snorkeling. I didnt see any sharks, but some of the people I went with saw sea turtles. Of course, there’s lots of beautiful fish.

Just steps from Waimea bay this snorkeling hot spot is a must see. You’ll find shallow reefs as well as deep and you might even spot a sea turtle as I did just like the one in the photo. Look but don’t touch these gentle creatures…it is their home not ours.

This place is sooo much better than Hanauma Bay! Less touristy, no videos, deeper, and way more visibility for snorkling!

Great place to go swimming, snorkling, and babe watching. Be careful when you bring your family here though as sometimes the waves can really wash over and make this into a washing machine.

Scuba by panicattack

I was scuba certified at this beach but also created many memories there as well. It was our favorite beach to go to while we lived on the island because of the awesome tidal pools that the kids could play in and the great scuba diving. We always chose this beach even though it was cloudy a lot of the time. You have to drive through Haleiwa to get there which is one of O’ahu’s hidden treasures. I lived there almost 10 years ago but there was a great Mexican restaurant, Rosa’s. They had fabulous margaritas which were made even better after a day spent at the beach. This is a great place to create memories.
