Assiniboine Park

Not only for visitors, but of course locals too. I’ve been here tons since I’ve moved to Canada. Much more than twice since my last entry, ha. Currently we are only a 10 minute walk from it, but this week we are moving RIGHT across the street from it! I’m going to be there even more! Haha, and I have no complaints. Still as beautiful as ever, this is one of few places that I will miss about Winnipeg when I move back home. I will take every opportunity to go there, most likely everyday :-P

I’ve already been here twice in a week since I’ve moved. I went to the big garden that you get to from the bridge and keep walking to the right on the trail. There is so much wildlife, I love it. And I went to the duckpond again with my husband. The grass is starting to turn brown though because there hasn’t been too much rain, so I better take advantage of the park before winter comes around!

Most beautiful, green, lush park I’ve been to. I love that there’s just open spaces to run around, have a picnic, play frisbee, and there’s room for everyone. I can’t wait to move to Canada because my apartment is a 10 minute walk from the park!!!
