A tip I have about this place

It gets really hot in the summer, but in the winter the temps are usually around 30-50 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s pretty chilly, so bring a winter jacket if you are going during that time.

I could not believe how hot it was… when we left the Hoover Dam is was 115 in the shade, driving out of vegas it was about the same, then it just kept getting HOTTER. a few months later i tried to check the temps for that day and found that there were severe heat warnings for that day! And there were record temps… crazy. It was beautiful out there though on the way to Poway.

I’ve travelled the lenght of California, & the Mojave was the highlight. The top of California has it’s own odd beauty, but we broke down in Needles, so we had more time to appreciate the southern end :)
