Dahab

Dahab is a small yet growing version of Sharm el’Shaikh. The people are really friendly and it has a very relaxed atmosphere. If you’re a natural haggler you’ll find everything really cheap. The seafood is fresh and excellent value! Diving in the Red Sea is magical. It is quite cheap to dive here and all dives are shore entry and easily accessible (with a qualified DM of course). Accommodation is varied and you can find really good deals if you book ahead online. Definitely worth visiting! Don’t be fooled with Winter Sun holiday deals. It’s cold and windy during winter even though it is sunny and never rains. Best time (say the locals) is March to October (but be careful of July/Aug… scorching hot then!)
