Good lunch buffet
The Emerald of Siam has been a fixture in Richland since it opened 25 years ago in the lunch counter of a small drugstore in the Uptown mall. Every weekday, they offer a lunch buffet with 3 entrees (generally 2 spicy and 1 mild), salad, rice, a hot appetizer, and steamed veggies, all you can eat with a drink for $8. They deliver locally and have a typically extensive regular menu too. Closed on Sundays and only open for dinner on Saturdays. There’s a dinner buffet on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Family owned and operated, nice folks and a pleasant atmosphere. Live jazz piano some Saturdays (the pianist just had a baby…)
