Major Dub's BBQ

It seems to have been run by the folks that own Major’s Burgers in Yakima, WA, as the restaurant sign also said “Major’s Burgers”.

They have moved out, however, and this place is now a Mexican buffet called El Carreta.

We avoided this place for about a year, mostly because of the spinning sign with its out-of-scale objects (and the fried chicken leg looks like something pretty nasty). But someone said they made good bbq, so we tried it. Too true! Excellent bbq (try the pulled pork sandwich) and divine onion rings made from Walla Walla sweets. Now we are there for lunch once a weekend when we are home. Mr. Jaq says the burgers are good, and he also likes the bbq chicken sandwich.
